Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury and Eddie Hearn have all been shortlisted for awards ahead of the 2025 British Boxing Awards.

It’s been a fascinating year with the likes of Fury and Joshua being knocked from their respective pedestals, while new stars such as Daniel Dubois have emerged.

Joshua – also known as AJ – started the year with an emphatic win over Francis Ngannou before suffering defeat to rival Dubois back in September.

Fury, meanwhile, has fought just once thus far – which was a split decision defeat to Oleksandr Usyk – but will rematch the Ukrainian on December 21st.

Despite their losses, both British heavyweights have found themselves on the shortlist for the ‘Boxer of the Year’ award ahead of the inaugural event.

Along with the duo, Josh Kelly, Lawrence Okolie, Joshua Buatsi, Chris Billam Smith, Dennis McCann, Fabio Wardley, Nick Ball and Dubois are also nominated.

The event will be hosted by boxing legends Ricky Hatton and Nicola Adams, with the great and the good from the world of boxing all set to attend.

Speaking about the event, Adams said: ‘This is an incredible shortlist. The British Boxing Awards will shine a light on the people and organisations contributing to the phenomenal growth of the sport.
