AJ Brown voiced his frustration over Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts after narrowly escaping the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
Philadelphia has been on a roll, stringing together nine wins, with the latest being a 22-16 victory over the visiting Panthers.
While the all-important win was achieved after four quarters, the wide receiver was not the happiest about his lack of involvement in the effort.
Post-game, Brown was asked what area of the offense could use improvement.
Without looking at the reporter, Brown said, ‘Passing,’ and nodded his head when the journalist clarified.
What upset Brown was Hurts attempting just 21 passes for Philadelphia in the game. He would complete 14 of his attempts for 108 yards and two touchdowns.

Brown was upset about Hurts only finding him for four of his 21 passes on Sunday
Of those passes, Brown was targeted for four and caught all for 43 yards. While topping the team in receiving yards, the scoring opportunities went to teammates DeVonta Smith and Grant Calcaterra.
Furthermore, Smith was targeted more than Brown, with Hurts throwing six passes to the fourth-year receiver.
So far this season, Brown has caught 48 passes in 66 targets for 836 yards and four touchdowns.
Last season, he finished with 106 receptions in 158 targets for 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns. The decline in Brown’s numbers could also be affected by the fewer games he played.
In 2023, he appeared in 17 games. As for this year, Brown has suited up for ten games with four remaining in the regular season.
Nonetheless, the Eagles secured the win to move to 11-2 and remain atop the NFC East. They will stay in the City of Brotherly Love to host the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 15.
