The mother charged with murdering her one-year-old baby girl has been pictured for the first time today.
Kinga Wydrzynska, 24, is accused alongside partner Michal Stasiak, 26, of killing their child, Isabella Stasiak, in Rugby, Warwickshire.
The couple both appeared in the dock at Coventry Magistrates’ Court today accused of murdering Isabella Stasiak in Rugby, Warwickshire.
The alleged killers, both Polish and dressed in grey tracksuits, spoke only to give their names, dates of birth and addresses.
Each faced a charge of murder as well as a charge of causing or allowing the death of a child.
Stasiak, a tall and very thin man with a goatee beard, faced three additional charges of possessing indecent images of children, namely 63 category A images, 23 category B and 14 category C.
These came into his possession, according to the charge sheet, between October 26 2022 and January 7 2025.
In a statement Warwickshire Police said they were called to a house in the New Bilton area of Rugby at 4.37am on Tuesday to reports of a baby in cardiac arrest.

The baby was taken to hospital but died.
Police swooped on the terraced house where the couple lived in Johnson Road, Rugby, at around 5am on Tuesday, according to neighbours.
Officers were said to have been seen carrying the limp shape of a child from the property, before someone was removed in handcuffs with a white sheet over their head.
Neighbours told MailOnline the couple had only lived at the address for several months.
Today a police officer remained stationed outside the address, which had its blinds closed. Stickers of stars covered the front downstairs window.
A flat around half a mile up the road, which was given as the address for Stasiak in court, had a metal sheet covering the front entrance after the front door was removed by police.
Neighbours of the flat in Blackwood Avenue said the defendant was believed to have been staying there over Christmas, but was not the tenant.
In court today, each defendant gave a different home address, when asked to provide them by magistrates.
Gez Newsome, acting for the prosecution, applied for reporting restrictions to be placed on the case to prevent the naming of either the victim or the perpetrators.
But this was dismissed by District Judge Qureshi who said: ‘The law only prohibits the naming of a child under 18 if they are still alive.’
Both were remanded in custody until Monday morning when they will appear at Warwick Crown Court.
Their legal representatives said that bail applications would be made at a later date.
