Arsenal thrashed BATE Borisov 6-0 on Thursday night in their final Group H clash as they sailed into the Europa League round of 32 with a resounding victory.

Arsene Wenger’s men had already guaranteed top spot in Group H before kick-off and will enter the Europa League knockout rounds as one of 16 seeded teams.

But who could the Gunners face? Sportsmail has profiled the best and worst-case scenarios for Wenger’s side as they prepare to learn their fate at Monday’s Europa League draw in Switzerland.

POTENTIAL OPPONENTS: Borussia Dortmund, Napoli, Celtic, Spartak Moscow, Astana, Partizan Belgrade, Ludogorets, AEK Athens, Lyon, FC Copenhagen, Steaua Bucharest, Marseille, Ostersunds, Nice, Real Sociedad.

Arsenal are seeded after finishing top of Group H. No team can play a club from their own Europa League group meaning the Gunners can’t face Red Star Belgrade.

Teams from the same country are also kept apart though England’s only other entrants Everton failed to make the knockout stages after a disastrous campaign.

Subsequently Arsenal could face any of the Europa League group runners-up (except Red Star) and the four unseeded Champions League sides.

HOW THE DRAW WORKS

There will be two pots of clubs for the round of 32 draw: the 12 group winners and the four best third-ranked teams in the Champions League group stage are seeded.

The top seeds will be drawn against the 12 group runners-up and the remaining third-placed sides from the Champions League groups.

Teams cannot face sides from their own Europa League group and teams from the same country will also be kept apart.

A nightmare draw for Arsenal could see them face 2013 Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund while Serie A title-chasers Napoli are another potential opponent.

An all-British clash featuring Celtic is on the cards while Russian giants Spartak Moscow round off the four Champions League sides Arsenal could face in the knockout stages.

Lyon are arguably the strongest side out of the Europa League group runners-up though Arsenal will be wary of Marseille, Real Sociedad and FC Copenhagen.

Swedish side Ostersunds, managed by Englishman Graham Potter, could also play Arsenal after a fairytale rise saw them secure a knockout spot as Group J runner-up.

Games will be played on February 15 and 22 with the full schedule set to be released following the draw in Nyon, Switzerland.
