Mark Hamill has revealed that he’s struggling to come to terms with Star Wars co-star Carrie Fisher’s death.
The 66-year-old actor gushed about the late actress in Tokyo, and admitted: ‘She is so alive in my mind.’
The comments came as the star spoke about the release of their film, The Last Jedi, which comes out this month.

‘It’s so hard for me to think of her in the past tense because she is so alive in my mind,’ The Daily Telegraph reports Mark as saying in Tokyo this week.
Speaking of working with Carrie, he said: ‘She’s irreplaceable and we all loved her and it was impossible not to have fun when you were around Carrie.’
Mark added that thinks Carrie would want fans to enjoy The Last Jedi – despite being sad about her death – with Carrie filming the latest installment, shortly before her death.

‘I know that she would want us to enjoy the film and to be happy and laugh, because that’s what Carrie was all about.’
Carrie – who played Princess Leia in the films – died on December 27 at the age of 60 from cardiac arrest.
The day after the star’s death, her mother Debbie Reynolds suffered a stroke at the home of her son Todd, as the family was in the middle of planning Carrie’s funeral.
Reynolds was rushed to hospital but died later that afternoon at the age of 84.

Carrie’s daughter Billie Lourd, 25, recently opened up about how she was coping with losing her mother and grandmother.
‘It’s completely surreal, there’s no way to really explain it,’ she said on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
‘It’s so hard to talk about.’
She added: ‘If I say that I’m doing good then I’m too happy and if I say that I’m not doing good then I’m a mess.’
‘So it’s really hard to know what to say about it because it is just so surreal and impossible to deal with.’
