NRL legend Benji Marshall captivated the crowd at his wife Zoe’s Sydney book launch on Wednesday night with a mesmerising Haka.

The event, to celebrate Zoe Marshall’s new self-help book Ariise, became a memorable occasion as Benji, 40, took centre stage to pay heartfelt tribute to his wife.

The audience erupted in cheers and applause as Benji stood up and energetically performed the traditional Maori dance from the crowd.

Zoe was visibly moved by her husband’s gesture and footage from the night captured her tearing up over the sweet gesture.

‘Shall we party?’ Zoe asked the crowd as Benji finished.

Benji’s performance added a personal and powerful element to the book launch, leaving attendees in awe.

Zoe and Benji, who tied the knot in 2013, share two children together – son Benjamin, six, and daughter Ever, three.

Last year, Wests Tigers CEO Shane Richardson told how Benji’s devotion to his family should be admired.

‘Because [Benji] doesn’t work 14 hours a day and wants he and his players to have a family life, it’s a good thing,’ he said in a statement.

‘I wish I had learnt that 20 years earlier. It would have saved me a lot of grief in my own personal life.

‘What he’s trying to do is instill a balance between life and work. I think he’s got it.’

Zoe and Benji’s 12-year marriage has seen the pair move interstate and abroad with their two children.

The rugby league WAG previously said she is proud the couple have managed to maintain such a strong relationship over the years.

Zoe and Benji walked down the aisle for a second time in 2023 when they renewed their vows at home, surrounded by family and friends.

While she was pregnant with their daughter Ever, Zoe admitted the couple had split up three times before tying the knot in 2013.

The family recently moved into a new $4.75million family home in Sydney.

Benji began his NRL career in 2003 and retired as a player in 2021.

In 2024 he became the coach of his former team the Wests Tigers.

He has also appeared on reality TV and in 2022 he was crowned the series six winner of Channel Nine’s The Celebrity Apprentice.
