Flume is officially off the market after announcing his engagement on social media.

The Aussie DJ, 33, also known as Harley Streten, posted on Instagram on Tuesday to reveal that he had put a ring on the finger of Isabella Lalonde, an artist, designer and founder of fashion brand Beepy Bella.

‘About to marry a sweet pea,’ he captioned the post, tagging his soon-to-be wife and adding a ring emoji.

In the post, Flume shared a series of loved-up snaps of the couple to commemorate the special moment.

The first picture showed the happy couple embracing and smiling as the camera zoomed in for an intimate snap.

The raven-haired beauty posed with her dainty diamond ring in the second picture, showing off the distinctive dazzler on her tattooed finger while looking elated.

The last picture in the carousel showed Isabella holding her new fiancé’s cheeks in a huge smile as he lay back on the bed in glee.

Big-named DJs near and far flooded the comments section with well-wishes for the You & Me hitmaker and his fiancé.

‘Cuties,’ Dom Dolla simply put, while Diplo commented on the post with a bunch of red hearts.

‘Congrats you two,’ Dancing Astronaut wrote.

Australian electronic-hip hop duo Hermitude also chimed in with the well-wishes, sharing a number of celebratory emojis in reaction to the good news.

Sydney-born DJ Wax Motif wrote: ‘Congrats.’

‘Congrats! hope you release a beautiful album full of love song,’ added Tiago Melchior.

In 2022, Flume revealed that stage fright and anxiety drove him to abuse alcohol.

The DJ, who has played to thousands all over the world, talked about his trauma in an interview with The Age, making a series of startling admissions in the chat – including claiming he never felt like a performer.

‘I have a fear of public speaking, so I never know what to say to an audience,’ he said.

To cope, he drank ‘three or four glasses of champagne’ before going on stage followed by a few more while he was performing.

After a show, he would open a bottle to celebrate, and continued this process at as many as six shows a week for months on end.

‘And before I knew it, I realised, “Oh f**k, I’m an alcoholic,”‘ he told the paper.

He says it all led him to make the drastic decision to quit the stage and concentrate on making music only in the studio.

Therapy, anti-depressants and meditation worked to beat the anxiety and the alcohol, the performer explained.

Rising to fame in his 20s, the talented performer is best known for his hits Never Be like You, Say It and You & Me.
