Tim Robards has announced the engagement of Thor Love and Thunder star Samantha ‘Sammy’ Allsop. 

Australia’s original Bachelor, 42, shared the news in a ‘mid week roundup’ posted to his Instagram on Monday. 

A photo taken from inside a washing machine shows Tim and his wife Anna Heinrich, 38, grinning and posing with their newly engaged friends. 

In the centre of the happy snap is Sammy, who starred alongside Chris Hemsworth and Russell Crowe in Thor: Love and Thunder as one of the Zuesettes. 

The British-born actress flashed her giant diamond ring, which her celebrity photographer fiancé Charles Grant purchased for her after one false start. 

‘Great friends got engaged… again… (new ring so why not),’ Tim explained in the caption of his post.

‘Nice ring… who did it?!’ fellow influencer and jewellery designer Charlotte Heinrich commented. 

The Sydney-based jeweller has designed pieces for the likes of Dua Lipa, Sara Sampaio, and Rita Ora. 

‘Obviously the best!’ Charles responded, giving the Vogue-endorsed diamond brand owner her due credit.  

Charles is an awarded art director and photographer, who specialises in fashion and advertising for glossy magazines. 

Meanwhile, his bombshell fiancée will next star as Helena Glory in Alex Proyas’ science fiction feature R.U.R., alongside Richard Roxburgh and Anthony LaPaglia.

The up-and-coming Aussie screen star has been steadily building up a portfolio of small roles in impressive productions, including ABC series Ladies in Black and Paramount’s Last King of the Cross. 

The Sydney-based power couple recently bought their first home in Bondi.

The Australian Hollywood star did not pull any punches when it came to his involvement in the fourth film in the highly popular Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise directed by Taika Waiiti.

He told Vanity Fair in his cover piece: ‘I got caught up in the improv and the wackiness, and I became a parody of myself.

‘I didn’t stick the landing.’

The actor also admitted to growing frustrated with the superhero, after portraying him in four standalone flicks, as well as four Avengers movies.
