Travellers go wild over $119 item from Kmart that’s a ‘dupe’ of $3,200 designer buy: ‘Are you kidding me?’

Travellers have discovered a $119 suitcase from Kmart that’s an affordable alternative to a designer version costing more than $3,200. 

Jordyn Henley couldn’t believe his eyes when he stumbled across the budget-friendly silver hard case luggage featuring TSA approved locks.

The Aussie content creator purchased the silver-coloured suitcases in two sizes – 72cm ($119) and 48cm ($79).

‘I have never gone to Kmart so fast in my life… I got RIMOWA suitcase dupes,’ Jordyn said in his video, screaming excitedly about his new purchases.

‘I drove so fast to Kmart, I don’t think there’s any tread left on my tyres. I’m not kidding. I got not one but two suitcases for $200. You’re actually kidding me?’

Jordyn explained how the suitcases look almost identical to the expensive version.

‘I’m going to the Gold Coast soon, so I’m so excited about this… I literally can’t wait to take them out. I don’t even give a f*** that they’re fake,’ he said. 

Despite the significant price difference, RIMOWA – owned by Louis Vuitton and Moët Hennessy (LVMH) – is widely known for its luxury suitcases, crafted from high-end anodised aluminium, all of which come with a lifetime guarantee.

Jordyn was thrilled with his new suitcases and pointed out that the cheaper version even has a metal lock, just like the pricey ones.

‘Everyone get to Kmart before they sell out,’ he said. 

‘$200 for two suitcases, f***ing bargain darling. That’s so hot.’

Many shoppers couldn’t believe the similarities, with some suggesting it’s perfect for those who can’t afford to fork out thousands of dollars on designer labels. 

‘Why do they look so good?’ one said about the Kmart suitcases.

‘Everyone stop talking about these, I haven’t got mine yet,’ another shared, suggesting she was worried they might sell out.  

Jordyn’s video has been viewed more than 175,000 times – with many saying they were running into stores to get their hands on the stylish suitcases.

‘I’ve never ran faster to Kmart, thank you,’ one said. 

‘Literally just got in my car to get one OMG,’ another shared. 

‘OMG I need it,’ one revealed.

‘You get me so hyped up – I love it,’ another added.

Kmart shoppers confirmed the suitcases are good for travelling.

However, some claimed their wheels were damaged during their trip, but reminded others to hold on to their receipts.

‘The wheel snapped off on its first trip and Kmart exchanged it,’ one shopper said.
