Old Trafford legend Eric Cantona is hoping for a United win in Sunday’s Manchester derby but he admits that City’s football under Pep Guardiola arouses him.
Cantona, who played for United between 1992 and 1997, recently said that Guardiola would be a better manager than Jose Mourinho for his former club.
And the outspoken Frenchman has now thrown more praise towards City’s Spanish tactician, despite referring to him as ‘this bald guy’.

But the Frenchman has claimed City’s football under Pep Guardiola gives him a ‘f****** hard on’
Previewing this weekend’s meeting between Manchester’s great rivals on Eurosport’s Facebook page, Cantona said: ‘On one side, my heart was, is, and will forever be beating for United.
‘On the other side, there is this bald guy whose vision of “total football” gives me a f****** hard on.
‘A defence genius Mourinho against an offense genius Guardiola. Borg vs McEnroe. Who do you choose? Come on United!’
Cantona also had his say on the recent World Cup draw, joking that FIFA must have some dirt on Gary Lineker after the BBC pundit presented the ceremony despite previously calling out football’s governing body for corruption.
‘I was surprised to see Gary Lineker, who once called FIFA “the most corrupt organization on earth”, host the draw,’ Cantano quipped.
‘Sh*t, they must have something big on him. Hang on mate, we will find a way to get you out of there. #FreeGary!’
Guardiola has seen his Man City side score 45 goals in 15 Premier League games this season
