The menswear silhouette is currently of the hottest fashion trend for women right now.

And the theme has been very prevalent at Australian Fashion Week this year.

Neighbours star April Rose Pengilly, singer Alli Simpson and model and influencer Ellie Gonsalves put their own spin on the popular trend as they attended several runway shows in Carriageworks on Tuesday.

April 37, looked incredibly chic in a butter yellow tweed blazer dress which featured a dramatic flower on the shoulder and double-breasted buttons.

She finished the look with glossy black knee-high boots and a quilted Chanel handbag.

Meanwhile, Alli Simpson, 27, looked sharp in a double-breasted chocolate brown suit, a modern take on menswear with an oversized silhouette, crisp white shirt and black tie.
