Sahith Theegala has withdrawn from the PGA Championship on the eve of the tournament due to a neck injury.

The 27-year-old had to withdraw from last week’s Truist Championship after three rounds because of the injury.

Theegala was due to play with Max McGreevy and Sepp Straka on the first two days but his place has now been given to Alex Smalley.

More to follow.
