Both of the couple’s Instagram accounts have been flooded with messages of well-wishers, including one from Rudi’s teammate Kiera Austin, who gushed ‘YAY LOVERS.’

Meanwhile, Collingwood player said ‘Wow, this is special, congrats guys.’

The Western Bulldogs and Melbourne Vixens also sent messages of congratulations to the pair.

Known as a strong ruckman, Tim kicked off his career with the Western Bulldogs in 2017.

He has since racked up an impressive 140 games with the side and kicked a solid 81 goals.

Rudi has played first class netball in Perth with the West Coast Fever and also took to the court for the Queensland Firebirds before joining the Melbourne Vixens.

In 2023, she moved to Melbourne to be closer to her family and this year became part of the Origin Australian Diamonds squad.

‘A big shift moving back to Melbourne was being surrounded by loved ones,’ she told Netball.com last month.

‘I guess that really makes me quite happy off court, which then translate on court.’
