Jessie J has admitted she ‘isn’t too fussed’ about getting married.

The singer, 37, has been with former basketball star Chanan Safir Colman for four years, but says she feels no pressure to tie the knot anytime soon.

The Price Tag hitmaker says the couple will do it in their own time, and although she does expect they will wed ‘one day’, it’s not something particularly important for them to do right now.

‘We talk about it all the time, and we laugh about it all the time, and I’m sure we will, but we’re not in any rush,’ the mum-of-one – who shares son Sky with Chanan – told People magazine.

She continued: ‘I’ve always said that I’m not too fussed about getting married, and some people get really funny about that, but it’s my own preference.’

Jessie finds marriage ‘quite contractual’ but she is keen for them to affirm their love for one another.

‘But I’m not in any rush,’ she added. ‘I know he loves me. He knows I love him. We’re good.’

She said: ‘He has exceeded my expectations as a father beyond my imagination. I’m so grateful that he is so present and just so willing to adapt around obviously my career.’

On Friday she sent fans into a frenzy after dropping a brand-new single and unveiling the stunning official artwork for the track.

Following the release of her deeply personal and reflective song No Secrets last month, the singer has returned with Living My Best Life – a vibrant, feel-good anthem bursting with positivity.

Produced by GRAMMY-winning hitmaker Ryan Tedder, the new single is a celebration of joy and self-expression, serving as the perfect yin to No Secrets yang.

The exuberant throwback track came to Jessie while driving through LA, with the best of Whitney Houston and Prince blaring from her Jeep.

Speaking about the song, Jessie said: ‘I love the sense of moving upwards, so Living My Best Life has that same feeling. It feels timeless, classic, 80s. It makes you want to dance.’

In the newly released artwork, Jessie stuns in nothing but a brown blazer and oversized tortoiseshell sunglasses.

Beaming during the shoot, she styled her brunette tresses in voluminous waves and accessorised with chunky gold hoop earrings.

Following the announcement, fans flocked to her Instagram to express their excitement.
