Pets at Home will this week reveal whether Britons have continued to treat their furry friends despite a slump in consumer confidence.

Shareholders will be keen for an update on whether pet owners are holding back on spending amid increased economic uncertainty.

The FTSE 250 business’s response to the Competition and Markets Authority’s (CMA) investigation into the vet sector will also be in the spotlight.
