Neymar’s glamorous WAG addresses marriage speculation with cryptic six-word message after footballer shutdown wedding rumours

Neymar’s partner Bruna Biancardi has claimed she is married to the Brazilian footballer, just months after he refuted claims that the pair had wed.

In January Neymar received a hero’s welcome on his return to boyhood club Santos, after injuries curtailed what proved to a brief albeit lucrative spell in the Saudi Pro League.

Following his return, reports from Brazil claimed in March that the 33-year-old was planning marrying his longtime partner Biancardi.

Neymar was quick to put paid to speculation in an interview, claiming the plans had come a surprise to him.

‘There’s nothing planned yet,’ he said. ‘Tell me the date so I can at least get ready.’

However, a recent comment on social media appears to indicate that the two have since tied the knot.

In 2023 the Brazil international admitted to cheating on Biancardi during her pregnancy and issued a public apology 

On Saturday Biancardi hosted a Q&A for her 13.7million followers on the social media platform Instagram.

One question saw a fan ask the model and content creator when she is planning on getting married.

She responded: ‘We are already married on paper.’

Neymar has long referred to Biancardi as his ‘wife’ in interviews but the pair seemingly hadn’t previously made their nuptials official.

The couple welcomed their first child in 2023, but Neymar admitted to cheating on Biancardi during her pregnancy and issued a public apology to her where he claimed he ‘made a mistake’.

Biancardi chose to forgive Neymar and they are now expecting another baby, but the 33-year-old football star has now been accused of cheating on her again.

According to Brazilian outlet Leo Dias, Neymar attended a party with 20 escorts earlier this year and it has been suggested that he was unfaithful to Biancardi at the event.

The Brazil international is currently suffering with COVID-19 for a second time after previously contracting the illness during his time at PSG.

‘With a viral condition that began on Thursday (June 5), Neymar Jr. underwent laboratory tests, after evaluation by the Medical Department of Santos FC, which confirmed infection by Covid-19,’ the club said in a statement.

‘The player had already been away from activities since Thursday, when he began showing symptoms, and remains resting at home and undergoing symptomatic treatment, as determined by a doctor.’
