A 187-square-mile ranch in rural Montana that was built by the late Mars Inc. co-president and had an asking price of almost $65million has been sold.
One of the state’s largest ranches, the Diamond Cross Ranch was sold to Heal Holdings LLC on December 1, the Billings Gazette reports.
The asking price for the gargantuan property – larger than the European nation of Andorra – was $64.8million.

Mars Jr, through the enormous success of the candy empire and other pursuits, was worth $25billion at the time of his death
The ranch – located in Birney in southeastern Montana – went on sale in March.
Century 21 BJH Real Estate Agent Bruce Garber says the ranch was likely bought quickly because of its large size.
The ranch was assembled by Mars candy heir Forrest Mars Jr, who died in July 2016 in Sheridan, Wyoming at age 84.
He was worth at least $25billion at the time of his death.
The Gazette reports that Heal Holdings LLC ‘appear to be an investment collaboration focused on sustainable and regenerative projects’.
The ranch commands 2,000 grazing cows who can be herded and milked, among other pursuits
