The cricket community was rocked after images surfaced of Australian Ashes cricket star Nathan Lyon locking lips with his new love Emma McCarthy.
And with friends of the mother of his two children, Melissa Waring, saying she was ‘devastated’ and ‘blindsided’ by the pictures – it’s likely the cricket WAG sisterhood will also not be impressed.
While the likes of Candice Warner and Kyly Clarke have remained quiet in the midst of the Lyon scandal, it’s no secret that Melissa has maintained a strong friendship with her fellow cricket WAGS over the years.

Nathan’s new love interest Emma may not be popular among some of the WAGS, given her history dating cricket star Mitchell Marsh, who is now dating model Isabelle Platt.
Meanwhile, Melissa’s friends say she has been caught ‘completely blindsided’ by the news of her partner-of-ten-years passionately kissing the real estate agent.
She told MailOnline: ‘We have two small children who I have to put first and unfortunately at the end of the day I’m the one who’s being f**ked around here’
The mother-of-two, who met Lyon in Mooseheads nightclub in Canberra, said she was concerned about saying any more ‘because it could affect me at a later date if I need to go to court.’
She added: ‘I can’t jeopardise anything happening to my kids, this is hard enough.’
However a source close to Nathan insisted it was not an affair because the ten year long relationship with the mother of his children had run its course some time ago.
