She’s been known for unabashedly embracing a string of risqué ensembles over the years – an image which has served to match her often raunchy lyrics.
And Lil’ Kim stayed true to form on Thursday evening, when she took to the stage in eye-catching style for radio station Hot 97’s annual Hot For The Holidays concert in New Jersey.
The 42-year-old Crush On You rapper turned heads as she stepped out onstage at Newark’s Prudential Center wearing a deeply plunging PVC catsuit, which featured bright blocks of multiple colours, including red, pink and blue.

Covering up her diminutive frame in an oversized white faux fur coat, the Brooklyn native performed alongside fellow hip-hop star Remy Ma, with whom she recently teamed for Wake Me Up – a track in which they take swipes at Nicki Minaj.
For the occasion, Lil’ Kim – real name Kimberly Jones – kept her look festive with the addition of a beaded necklace, while her raven tresses rested on her ample bosom.
Her makeup palette included long eye-lash extensions, a deep blush and shimmering nude lipstick as she entertained crowds at the show, which included appearances by Chris Brown, Cardi B, Fat Joe, 21 Savage and Yo Gotti.

In spring of last year, Lil’ Kim attracted headlines when she was seen looking unrecognisable in a collage of selfies she Instagrammed while in Miami.
Shocked fans noted that her skin tone and nose shape looked decidedly different – a fact she drove home as she shared three retro snaps of her old face alongside late former boyfriend The Notorious B.I.G.
However, some observers noted that the star likely looked so different thanks to the help of Instagram’s popular filters – which give users a slightly different look.

Jovial: The Bodak Yellow rapper appeared to be in jovial spirits as she performed for the crowd

Orange: The singer donned a bright orange top, which he coordinated with a matching cap
Big show: Fat Joe was also among the chart-topping stars who entertained the sizeable crowd
In a 2005 interview with popular radio host Angie Martinez, the mother-of-one revealed that she went under the knife after an abusive boyfriend broke her nose – and insisted that she was unfazed about the speculation over her changing looks.
She said: ‘It don’t bother because I’m beautiful. I love myself! There’s certain things that I think I was obsessive with that I think I’ll always have time to fix, or whatever.
‘But the thing is, people think I did it because I had low self esteem but that wasn’t the case. I think I did it because I was a little too vain, trying to be perfect. I’m a perfectionist… It teaches you a lesson, too. You’ve got to pull back from certain things.’

Nearly 20 years later: There’s no doubt the 41-year-old Grammy winner has undergone a Michael Jackson-style transformation of her skin colour, nose shape, and quality of wig since 1997
‘Happy Sunday!’ And to drive the point home, the surgically-enhanced diva also shared three retro snaps of her old face alongside ex-boyfriend The Notorious B.I.G. (R)
