Shocking video shows Australian teen bash young girl

A disturbing video showing an Australian teenager brutally bashing another girl has surfaced online.

The grainy footage – which police believe was filmed in Bundaberg, Queensland – begins with the victim kneeling on the ground as a girl approaches her and begins throwing punches, while onlookers encourage her to continue the abuse.

The girl, who is understood to be aged 13, then keels over in pain and starts to wail in agony as the attacker continues her violent assault.

In the expletive-laden attack, the girl – who is wearing a blue jumper – yells at the teenager to ‘get up’ while kicking and punching her.

The teenager’s savage assault only ends when a friend pulls her away and instructs her to ‘leave her now’.

Detective Sergeant Cameron Schneider said at a press event that police believe they know who the attacker is, but no charges have been laid.

He said: ‘The assault on a young girl is distressing, as well as unlawful.’

‘The behaviour is absolutely appalling, given the assault on the young girl is prolonged and [if it had] continued with the ferocity, it could have the propensity to cause massive injuries to the young girl involved.’
