Christmas work parties begin to take a toll on revellers

Christmas came early for office workers who had their holiday parties on Friday night – but at least they don’t have work in the morning.

Hordes of men and women were pictured dressed up for a night on the town n Sydney, with some donning festive accessories for the events.

But as the night wore on, the celebrations appeared to take a toll on revellers who were pictured looking a little worse for wear.

Festive season: It’s not a Christmas party without reindeer antlers on your head and a glass of bubbles in your hand

Some workers embraced the festive season by donning reindeer antlers while enjoying celebratory drinks.

Others were spotted embracing the tropics by donning colourful leis and Hawaiian skirts and shirts.

As some revellers appeared to going for a Mexican taste with bright sombreros, one had other ideas and skated through the city dressed as Santa Claus.

With thousands embracing the Christmas spirit, they didn’t let the wet weather dampen their mood as they partied the night away.
