Kim Zolciak gets teary as she renews vows with Kroy

Kim Zolciak and husband Kroy Biermann both wept as they renewed their wedding vows in a picture perfect beach ceremony.

The season finale of Don’t Be Tardy ended with the couple sharing emotional vows as their six children stood beside them on the beach in their favorite place, Turks and Caicos, over Mother’s Day weekend.

They wanted the ceremony in part to make up for the drama that dogged their actual wedding — with neither of them having spoken to their own parents since that day.

Emotional: Kim Zolciak was teary eyed as she remarried Kroy Biermann on the finale of Don’t Be Tardy aired on Friday

The gang is all here: Their three daughters Brielle, 20, Ariana, 15, and Kaia, 3, wore white dresses, while sons KJ, 6, Kash, 4, and Kane, 3, wore bow ties and suspenders with shorts

And for a moment it looked like the new ceremony would also end in chaos, with Kim stressed and constantly putting off writing her vows, and her dress being the ‘tardy’ part and arriving just hours before the event itself.

‘We’ll do bikinis — I’ll wear my Speedo,’ Kroy had joked to calm his wife who insisted she ‘couldn’t be more stressed’ in the final stages of planning.

But it all came good with the ceremony on the seventh anniversary of the say they met, with Kim in a stunning white dress with a large bow and NFL star Kroy in a beige suit and no shoes.

Kim, 39, was left dabbing her eyes almost as soon as Kroy, 32, started reading out his vows from his phone, recalling their wedding day five and a half years ago.

His voice then cracked with emotion as he told her: ‘In the time I can honestly say that I loved you every step of the way.’

‘Kimberly, I fell in love with you, and continue to fall farther each and every day,’ he told her, as she continued to sob, with him promising to ‘always be there for you’ as well as ‘be a great father to our children and parent them as a team.’

Kim was equally emotional reading out her own vows, pointing out it had been ‘2,555 days since I laid my eyes on you’ and pausing to regain her emotions after telling him: ‘On our wedding day, I made the most important choice in my life.’

‘No other person has aroused me in the feelings of joy, tenderness, and love like you have,’ she told him.

Their six children then joined them to hold hands in a circle, before Kroy’s former teammate Coy Wire, who also officiated their actual wedding, told them: ‘Kim and Kroy, you may now seal this special day with a kiss.’

‘I met my soulmate,’ she added, pointing out that there had been ‘very few downs and a whole hell of a lot of ups’ in their time together.

‘I mean we live a f***ing dream and we know we do.’

‘I just felt that it was so chaotic and just didn’t enjoy the moment,’ Kim said, admitting: ‘We haven’t seen either one of our parents since we got married.’

Kim insisted she ‘did my best’ at reaching back out, and admitted: ‘My dad, I miss him. But my mom — totally different bad game. It’s been like 20 years and she’s never changed.’

She told the cameras in a confessional later: ‘I tried calling my mom because Brielle wanted to — but it didn’t work. Same s**t, different day.

‘Any sliver of hope for my mom and I to ever have a relationship — she just squashed that again.’

Kim also got emotional as she spoke of her stroke and how it changed her.

‘Having a stroke you really live in the moment because you realize your life can change forever,’ she said, holding her hands over her face as she was overcome with emotion.

‘You look at life like, “Holy s**t, it could be over. Today.” And I think that definitely was a big force in all of this’

Kroy also opened up to Coy about how he felt ‘less than’ and ‘not good enough’ when he was cut from the Buffalo Bills — but insisted he was ‘not done yet’ in his playing career.

However, he also admitted: ‘I love football, but there are risks involved. I definitely want to be around when my grandkids are born — when they’re playing, when they graduate. I want to live a long, prosperous life.’
