And on Monday night, the red carpet of the Australian Music Vault launch in Melbourne was alight with veterans who have seen it all.
Among the A-listers in attendance were Kylie Minogue, 49, Tina Arena, 50 and Molly Meldrum, 74.

Ageless Kylie took the plunge in racy attire, providing a glimpse of her black bra with a very low-cute neckline.
The gorgeous charcoal maxi-dress was emblazoned with a metallic pattern and fell effortlessly from the stunner’s svelte figure.
Accessorising the look, the former Neighbours star went for gold strappy heels and added a necklace in the same shade.

Cosing up to the pop queen on the media wall was fellow singing superstar Tina Arena.
The ARIA-award winner donned an elegant off-the-shoulder figure-hugging ensemble with a flared white hemline.
Also joining the women on the night was legendary music critic Molly Meldrum who sported his trademark cowboy hat.

The iconic music journalist arrived at the event in a wheelchair following his well-publicised health battle.
However, Molly managed to stand for photos, posing alongside Kylie and Tina as well as Australian businessman Michael Gudinski.
In recent years, the Countdown presenter has suffered a number of health concerns including two serious falls in 2011 and 2016.
