But Pia Miller inadvertently spoiled the show for international fans, who are several weeks behind.
After she shared an Instagram revealing her character’s death, one fan raged ‘Ruined for the UK fans’.

The angered Home and Away fan added a sarcastic thumbs up emoji to finish off the post.
The user was just one of many British viewers who posted beneath Pia’s picture of herself in character, to which she added the caption: ‘Spoiler alert! (Not that it hasn’t been all over the media for months) Tonight we farewell Kat’.
‘No no @piamiller I’m in the UK and we’re way behind. I better not spoil it for my mum and tell her’, another penned.

‘In London we will not see the episode until next year’ added a third fan from the motherland.
Another regretful user wrote: ‘I wish I hadn’t read these messages now as we won’t be seeing these episodes till the new year’.
After the 2017 season finale aired in Australia, Pia shared another two pictures to Instagram – one of her in character and covered in blood featured the words: ‘After filming the accident.. actual tears.’

The other was a thank you note that included cast, crew, writers, producers, friends and family.
‘The cast and crew become an extended family, we spend more time with them then we do our own families sometimes so it was incredibly hard knowing I wouldn’t be returning back on set the following week,’ she told Now to Love.
‘I felt sad but also really proud to have been part of the show.’
