Stephen Baldwin is predicting that his brother Alec will vote to re-elect Donald Trump in 2020 after he sees his tax savings.

The 51-year-old actor, who is an avid Trump supporter, made the rare comments about Alec before the GOP tax bill was passed on Wednesday.

‘I’m calling it now: With the amount of money Alec is going to make with this new tax cut, I bet he votes for Trump for re-election. Just saying,’ Stephen told the Hollywood Reporter.

Stephen Baldwin had predicted that his older brother Alec (pictured above together in 2011) will vote to reelect Donald Trump in 2020 after he sees his tax savings

He added that Alec’s latest movie The Boss Baby sequel would ‘go a long way because of Trump’.

Stephen said he still hasn’t spoken to his older brother since Trump won the election more than a year ago.

When he was asked about Alec’s Trump impersonation on Saturday Night Live, Stephen responded: ‘I can’t get into it’.

‘I haven’t spoken to him since the election. That’s the truth. That is by his choice. We grew up in a dumb-jock, competitive, Friday Night Lights kind of environment,’ he said.

‘And I’m sorry… but my guy won. Sorry. That’s what happened.’

Stephen confirmed that he was still ‘absolutely’ a Trump supporter because they are the ‘same kind of guy’.

‘He’s going to do what he thinks is best, and I’m the kind of guy, like Trump, who doesn’t like to confuse who I am or what I need to do. The biggest thing is financially. I’m guessing this Christmas, retail sales will be the highest they’ve been in 15 years, maybe more,’ he said.

He added that he wasn’t worried about being a vocal Trump supporter and said there were many in Hollywood who would never admit to supporting the current President.

‘I have really smart friends who are succeeding quite well as producers, writers and financiers, and they hold conservative views but they cannot speak their minds – at all. There’s a large constituency in Hollywood who voted for Trump but will never admit to that.’
