A Country Practice star and Gold Logie winner Lorrae Desmond dies aged 91
Australian singer and actress Lorrae Desmond has died at 91 after a short battle with illness.
The Gold Logie winner was best known for her role as Shirley Gilroy on Aussie soap A Country Practice between 1981 and 1992.
Born as Beryl Hunt in Mittagong on the New South Wales south coast, but moved to the UK with her family at the age of 10.
