Lola the yellow Labrador’s family had given up hope of ever seeing their dog again. She had been missing for a year in Texas.

Lola the dog had been missing for a year before Dallas Animal Services found her
The family was so happy to have Lola back that both children immediately burst into tears
Icela did not tell her children their pet had been found, and instead opted to surprise them.
When the children go outside, Icela is standing by the trunk of her SUV.
One of the kids says: ‘What the heck? Did you get a dog?’
Their mom opens the drunk and Lola jumps out of the car.
The children scream, and their mom says: ‘It’s Lola.’
The young girl immediately bursts into tears and her mom hugs her. Her brother quickly joins the comfort circle.
Lola can’t wait to go back inside her house and immediately asks for belly rubs
The girl says: ‘We have Lola back Mama.’
Amid the laughter and tears, Icela says: ‘Look at how fat she is!’
Lola runs up and down the yard before the family goes inside. Lola rolls over on her back and immediately asks for belly rubs.
Dallas Animal Services thinks someone or another family may have found the dog and kept and fed her for the year she was missing.
