Last night, revellers from all across the country kicked off the Easter Bank holiday weekend in style by partaking in a massive Thursday night out, meaning many won’t be having the best ‘Good Friday’.
Thousands of Britons braved the gusty weather to descend into pubs, bars and clubs to begin their Easter celebrations.
The impressive session came despite the best efforts of Storm Nelson which battered the south bringing 70mph winds, heavy rain, hail and thunder.
Colourful pictures showing punters falling out of venues in Leeds, Nottingham and Newcastle show the amazing scale of the Easter debauchery.
Other shots showed clubgoers using clothes as makeshift umbrellas as they battled the elements in search of the next frosty jar.
