An 87-year-old grandmother stole the show at Dragon Con in Atlanta, Georgia, and went viral with a brilliant Game of Thrones costume over the weekend.
The lively grandmother, identified as a woman named Beverly , cosplayed as fan-favorite Lady Olenna Tyrell, dressing in full medieval attire and carrying a sign with the HBO character’s epic last words, which had fans falling from their seats, as she confessed to King Joffrey’s murder: ‘It was me.’
She also wore ‘deal with it’ Thug Life glasses as convention-goers fawned over her costume, taking pictures and cheering as she rolled by in her own wheelchair-turned-Iron Throne; her pictures have now been shared thousands of times online.

According to Buzzfeed, Beverly has been going to the convention with her daughter and granddaughter for four years, always as Lady Tyrell, who’s played by Dame Diana Rigg.
This year, though, in honor of the character’s death by poison right after confessing to murder, the trio went a step further and added the appropriate signs to the look.
Aside from the ‘it was me,’ sign, Beverly also had another that said: ‘not dead yet’.
According to her granddaughter, who wants to remain anonymous, Beverly’s daughter made the costume, the sign, and embroidered the crown, while she created the throne and had the idea of the sunglasses.
‘We knew we were on to something special when she couldn’t even go 10 feet without taking pictures and when people roared with cheers for her at the parade,’ she said.

Although Beverly will most likely not return to Dragon Con due to her health, just like the real Lady Tyrell, she went out with a bang.
‘She absolutely loves the attention and interacting with people who stop her on the street or in the halls,’ the granddaughter told Buzzfeed. ‘After the completely unanticipated outpouring of support this year and just how many people have been adoring her we’ll just have to see what wins out
