Pitch invader who stopped play at Wembley at the end of extra time is revealed to be attention-seeking reality TV wannabe
A pitch invader who briefly stopped play in the latter stages of England’s Euro 2020 clash against Italy was a musician who appeared on Little Mix: The Search.
Adam Harison ran onto the field at Wembley on Sunday, temporarily evading capture by several stewards before eventually being led away from the grass.
He shared an image of himself being escorted from the pitch following his stunt, writing: ‘At the end of the day… I love my country and I did this all for a good time. Nothing but love and respect for England tonight.’
Harison was a member of boyband New Priority on BBC’s Little Mix: The Search.
He had earlier posted several videos of himself arriving at the stadium ahead of the clash, which saw England lose out on the Euro 2020 title to Italy.
