A 31-year-old supermodel from Sydney has shared what she eats in an average day to keep herself in shape.
Former Victoria’s Secret star Jessica Hart has said that she ‘doesn’t hold back’ when it comes to eating the food she loves, such as burgers, but balances it with healthier meals and exercise.
‘I eat a lot of meat, and I’ve always fought with myself about that, but when I try to eat more traditionally healthy things – porridge and fruit, say – my stomach really hurts, and I get so bloated,’ she told Mind Body Green.

‘Now, I’m trying to just listen to my body and give it what it wants and not feel ashamed or guilty about that.’
She shared that she is a strong believer in intuitive eating, which also includes intermittent fasting.
‘My body feels better with intermittent fasting. Everyone always says it’s bad not to eat breakfast or that you should eat before you work out, and in the session today, they said that’s the worst thing you can do.
‘So the way that I’m naturally, intuitively eating is actually healthier—for my body at least.’

Although she is a supermodel Jessica doesn’t believe in not letting herself eat what she wants, so orders bits and pieces for her to nibble on, including chips and salad
Jessica explained that she isn’t a huge breakfast person but will often start her day with a tea or coffee.
Not all of her days are the same when it comes to what she eats, which she previously told Popsugar.
‘I find for breakfast it always varies… I’m not a massive breakfast person, so usually by early lunch time I start to get hungry, which is never any good because when I’m hungry I can’t make any good decisions.’
As she is usually travelling it means she doesn’t often have the option to cook for herself which means she often eats out.

‘But I like to make sure I have a lot of options and never commit to eating just one thing.
‘I like to order a few things, including a salad and other things I can pick at.
‘It feels like you eat more when you’ve got a few things to choose from,’ she told Popsugar.
Her reasoning behind this is she believes that if she tells herself she can’t eat something then she simply wants it more.
‘Whether it’s naughty or good, I eat a little bit of everything.
‘This way I feel like I haven’t done anything I didn’t want to.’
Jessica previously revealed to OK! Magazine: ‘I still love pizzas and burgers… it’s just about balancing it.’
She has also revealed her love for hot chips and orders them whenever she feels like eating them without guilt.
Pizza and pasta is her go-to indulgence food and she often eats BBQ steak for dinner

If she could eat whatever she wanted, she exclaims ‘pizzas and pasta’ would be high on her list, but added she has to resist: ‘It’s tough, but you just have to make healthier choices.’
Jessica, who has worked with brands including Victoria’s Secret, said she exercises as much as she can – and her regimen includes Pilates, spin classes and yoga.
Being a supermodel Jessica also has to ensure that her skin is in peak condition and told Mind Body Green that she does this by drinking lots of water.
‘Drinking a ton of water makes the biggest difference for my skin,’ she explained.

She said that she finds it hard to remind herself to hydrate throughout the day so adds a small amount of fruit syrup to her drink bottle.
On top of this she also swears by green juices and takes probiotics, glutathione, and vitamin C daily.
‘They help with hydration and pigmentation as well. I believe that good skin definitely starts in the gut, and I can really tell the difference when I’m not taking them.’
