A tired Adam Sandler pauses for a rest on the steps of Claridge’s hotel while scrolling through his phone

It seems as though it all got too much for Adam Sandler as he paused for a rest in the middle of Mayfair on Tuesday.

The actor, 57, took a seat outside the door of five star Claridge’s hotel as he enjoyed a moment to himself while scrolling through his phone.

The Grown Ups star opted for a sporty attire for the day out as he wore a pair of bright blue shorts while resting on the doorstep.

He paired the sports shorts with some eye-catching red trainers with yellow laces, while his bright purple hoody peaked out from underneath his coat.

Struggling to dress for the English spring he also wrapped up in a beige North Face padded coat as he took a seat.

It comes after the star was seen enjoying a leisurely stroll in Central London on Monday alongside his wife Jackie, 49.

The couple met on the set of 1999’s Big Daddy and have been together ever since.

Meanwhile Adam also shared a heartfelt tribute to late comedian Joe Flaherty following the star’s death aged 82 on April 1.

Adam shared a trio of images of Joe- with whom he starred with in Happy Gilmore –  and revealed he had ‘worshipped Joe growing up’ and added that the actor ‘always had me and my brother laughing.’

He wrote that it ‘couldn’t be more fun to have him heckle me on the golf course’ during the production of the film.

The star concluded his message by speaking about Joe’s personal qualities and sending his condolences to the late performer’s loved ones.

‘The nicest guy you could know. Genius of a comedian. And a true sweetheart. Perfect combo. Much love to his kids and thanks to Joe for all the greatness he gave us all,’ he wrote.

It was announced that Flaherty had passed away on Monday, April 1.

His daughter Gudrun confirmed the news to Variety in a statement through the Comedic Artists Alliance, which had previously raised funds for Flaherty to obtain a 24-hour care provider.

She said: ‘After a brief illness, he left us yesterday, and since then, I’ve been struggling to come to terms with this immense loss.

‘Dad was an extraordinary man, known for his boundless heart and an unwavering passion for movies from the ’40s and ’50s.’

Jennifer Tilly wrote: ‘Joe Flaherty played my dad in ‘The Wrong Guy.’ I was so thrilled to be able to work with him. His performance was pitch perfect. A great comedian. Gone too soon.’
