A VERY merry Boxing Day! Revellers take to the streets

  • Two men were photographed squaring up to each other during a night out in Leeds city centre on Boxing Day
  • Bouncers working at a bar in Leeds had to break up a fight and eject partygoers when a scuffle broke out
  • Revellers dressed up and took to the streets of Wigan to take part in the traditional Boxing Day night out

Revellers took to the streets last night as the festive season continued – but some took Boxing Day a bit too literally and fought outside bars and clubs.

Two men squared up to each other in Leeds city centre, West Yorkshire, and one young man was photographed with his hands on someone’s neck.

A man was seen getting ejected from a bar in the city, while other revellers were seen urinating and throwing up on the streets.

Meanwhile, men and women came out in force in Wigan, Greater Manchester, for the town’s traditional fancy dress night out.

One man was dressed up as a bug, while a group of six men dressed up as traffic cones and cars in the town.

Other men had dressed up as The Beatles and were photographed queuing to get into a club during the annual Boxing Day night out in the town.
