Aaron Carter reveals he’s SOLD all of his firearms and is getting treatment amid family crisis

Aaron Carter has sold all of his firearms and is getting treatment amid his ongoing family crisis.

The singer, 31, also claimed that he is ‘done’ with his twin sister Angel Conrad and elder brother Nick after they obtained restraining orders against him.

Aaron is believed to have owned two assault rifles, a pistol and a shotgun, reports TMZ and the troubled star reportedly showed the publication his paperwork after selling his firearms.

The singer also told the news website that he is ‘weening himself off Xanax’ with a team of doctors and is only getting treatment for himself not for his family.

Yet despite working hard to turn his life around, Aaron admitted to the publication that he is still furious with elder brother Nick and questions why he ‘waited so long’ to obtain a restraining order against him.

Earlier this month, Nick admitted that he had ‘no choice’ and he boldly accused Aaron of ‘harbouring thoughts and intentions of killing his pregnant wife and unborn child’.

Aaron’s interview comes after his twin sister Angel was granted a restraining order against him in a Los Angeles court on Friday after she said in legal docs that the singer had threatened her earlier this month, TMZ reported.

Angel told the court that her twin brother informed her, ‘I have people that would come and harm you,’ in a September 5 phone discussion.

Angel cited Aaron’s multiple allusions to owning an arsenal of rifles and handguns, via social media, as a factor in her decision to pursue the restraining order.

In a separate chat last month via FaceTime, Angel said in court docs that Aaron told her that as a child, he lit a turtle on fire to torture it, and felt ‘no emotion’ over his actions in hindsight, according to the outlet.

Aaron, per the terms of the restraining order, must remain at least 100 yards from Angel, her husband and daughter, and is prohibited from mentioning them over social media in a negative manner or when when weapons are involved.

Angel, released a statement to her Twitter account on Friday, she claimed: ‘Today I filed a protective order with my brother Nick in Los Angeles.

‘Following a recent relapse, Aaron confessed to me that he had violent thoughts towards babies and our family members. This, combined with his recent access to assault rifles has made us afraid for our safety.

‘It is clear to those of us that love him that Aaron is suffering from a mental health crisis. Unfortunately this has led to his fabricating stories in order to divert attention award from the truth.

‘We have been working closely with law enforcement who share our concern surrounding his current mental state.

‘We want our brother Aaron, whom we love very much, to get the help he so desperately needs but we have a baby girl and based on the alarming events that Aaron has threatened to carry out, we are compelled to take action to protect our family.’

The move comes after his elder brother Nick also successfully pursued a restraining order against Aaron, claiming on Twitter that it was due to Aaron’s ‘increasingly alarming behaviour’.

He alleged in a statement released last Wednesday: ‘After careful consideration, my sister Angel and I regret that we were required to seek a restraining order against our brother Aaron today.

‘In light of Aaron’s increasingly alarming behaviour and his recent confession that he harbors thoughts and intentions of killing my pregnant wife and unborn child, we were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves and our family.

‘We love our brother and truly hope he gets the proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else.’

Nick and his wife Lauren, who already have a son Odin, three, are expecting their second child next month.

Last week, Aaron also took to social media to decry the series of actions made by members of his family.

He alleged that his twin sister Angel has teamed up with Nick and his wife to ‘bully and silence him.’

In one of the most shocking claims, Aaron said he was raped by their late sister Leslie when he was a child; she died in 2012 from a drug overdose and left behind one child.

On Monday, Aaron hit back at his brother and sister’s claims as he released his own statement to Twitter.

He claimed: ‘I’m well aware many of you have shown concern for me over the past few weeks. Having people who genuinely care for you is something that should never be taken for granted.

‘For as long as I could remember, I’ve chased unconditional love and hoped for true stability in my family. I’ve spent most of my adult life seeking validation from these same people.

‘I started to get a chip on my shoulder when I kept coming up short on something that doesn’t cost a thing. LOVE. All I want is Love.

‘What has transpired recently does not represent my true wants or needs. I’ve been fighting fire with fire, something I still need to work on. Some have pointed and laughed, but many many more have shown genuine support for what I’ve been vulnerable enough to share.

‘For the record: I’m okay. I’m simply choosing to no longer be controlled by fear. I don’t fear my past. I do not fear the truth. I don’t fear anyone but God. I have never had thoughts of causing anyone pain, let alone taking anyone’s life.

‘It was hurtful to me to read those things because if these people really knew me, they would have never used that as a tactic to control me. What’s actually more hurtful though, is knowing how effected my innocent nieces and nephews will be by choices from the adults around them have made.

‘With that in mind, I ask everyone to please leave me alone and let the legal system do their thing. Thank you so much for the support. The truth shall set you free! 1Love, AC.’
