Aaron Carter’s on-off fiancee Melanie Martin remembers star on Christmas: ‘We feel you in our heart’

Melanie Martin took to social media on Christmas day to honor late fiance Aaron Carter.

The on-off partner of the former child star — who died last month at the age of 34 —shared a reel full of moments from the holiday.

The mother-of-one, also 34, wrote in the caption, ‘We can no longer see you with our eyes but we can feel you in our heart forever.’

Melanie held her and Aaron’s 13-month-old son Prince in her arms as she smiled into the camera.

As she engaged with her 219,000 followers she signed off to Aaron: ‘love your mini me and hunni.’

At one moment in the seconds-long snippet she zoomed in on a silver ornament with angel wings in the shape of a heart and Aaron’s name inscribed at the center.

Her long, blonde tresses were styled in an imperfect center part and fell over her chest in a straight look.

Her face was fully made up, with her carefully arched dark eyebrows framing her visage.

She held her baby on her hip and he looked adorable as he sported a white crew neck shirt with gray sleeves and red trim.

Earlier this month Melanie, an Only Fans content creator, regained full custody of the boy.

Prince, who was born in November 2021, was placed in the care of Melanie’s mother when he was a few months old, with Carter getting supervised visitation rights.

‘I’m honoring Aaron today and I know he would be so proud of me. I’m very emotional thinking we could have been a family, but Aaron would be so happy knowing I got him back,’ Martin told TMZ at the time of the hearing.

Aaron’s mom Jane Schneck agreed with the decision and added: ‘The child should be with the mother.’

Aaron and Melanie began dating in 2020 and got engaged in June that year, before having their son, Prince, in November 2021.

They were living apart when the singer was found dead. His mom Jane is said to have never met his son.

Melanie said she and Jane had a ‘fairly good relationship’ before Aaron died, according to TMZ 

Aaron’s family will hold a private memorial service for the singer in 2023, during which they plan to spread his ashes.
