Abbie Chatfield admits she ‘couldn’t be happier’ to be out of relationship after recent break up – despite saying she will no longer discuss her dating life publicly

Abbie Chatfield revealed on Friday morning how happy she is after breaking up with her most recent mystery partner.

The media personality, 28, who recently said she would no longer discuss her dating life publicly, announced she’s now over the heartbreak she suffered earlier this year.

Taking to her Instagram Stories with a lengthy message, she addressed her followers who may be going through a break up right now and told them to have hope.

‘To any [babies] going thru break ups, just a reminder in January I did a whole episode on the pod of me crying about how I don’t think I’ll ever love again,’ she wrote.

‘But now, in March I couldn’t be happier to be out of that relationship and I definitely will be able to love again.’

She added: ‘It’s so cute to me that I thought that hahaha. Keep on going.’

It comes after Abbie revealed in January on her It’s A Lot podcast during a very emotional episode that she was going through a breakup.

‘Hot tip to anyone in life in general, don’t date anyone you can look up interviews of on YouTube,’ Abbie said, before adding she was watching clips online of them.

She continued: ‘I’m just really sad. I feel like crying everyday. I’m also at the phase of the breakup where you think you won’t love anyone again.

‘I haven’t cared about a break-up properly in like five years – sorry to everyone in the past five years – but I haven’t cried about a break-up or missing someone this much in a very long time.’

Abbie explained the breakup would be easier if she could call her ex all the time like she used to.

‘It’s a thing where it’s like, we might get back together, which is the worst kind of one,’ she added.

Abbie’s admission came after she recently announced she will no longer be sharing any details about her own romantic conquests in the future.

‘I’m trying to have a break from saying who I’m dating because last time I told everyone it ended a bit tragically,’ she said during an appearance on The Sunday Project in November.

Abbie, who split from Bachelorette star Konrad Bien-Stephen last August after dating non-exclusively for about a year, explained that whoever she dates is always concerned they will end up as ‘content’ on her podcast.

The Masked Singer judge admitted she has a habit of telling her dates they won’t be discussed on her show, before breaking her promise as soon as they break up.
