Abbie Chatfield confirms relationship status with mystery new boyfriend and brands herself ‘queen of monogamy’ – after ending her open romance with Konrad Bien-Stephens
She was previously in a very public open relationship with Bachelor star Konrad Bien-Stephens.
But The Bachelor’s Abbie Chatfield is taking a more traditional approach to her latest romance, after recently announcing she is dating a mystery man.
During an Instagram Q&A on Sunday, the radio host was asked whether she is currently in an open relationship, to which the 28-year-old replied: ‘I’m now the queen of monogamy. It’s so random.’
The bisexual media personal later clarified that she is ‘exclusive with a man at the moment’, after one fan asked whether she was dating any women.
She first mentioned she was dating someone in early May during the Adelaide leg of her Trauma Dump tour.

The time, the podcast host said she was ‘trying out’ monogamy again, but was confused by some of the terms involved.
‘I don’t get monogamous language,’ she told the sold-out crowd at the Thebarton Theatre in Torrensville.
‘I didn’t know what exclusive meant.’

The Hit Network presenter did not reveal the identity of her partner, telling the audience her new relationship was still in its very early stages.
‘It’s been six days!’ she said.
She also addressed rumours she’d dated American musician Yung Gravy while he was in the country in February.

At the time, footage surfaced online of Abbie and the Betty rapper, 27, looking cosy at several venues in Sydney.
Abbie commented on the speculation at her Adelaide show, shutting down reports the two had slept together.
‘I certainly didn’t spend two nights at his hotel [with Gravy],’ she said in a sarcastic tone, leaving the audience to speculate.
‘Nothing happened. We just had Macca’s.’
Abbie broke up with Bachelorette star Konrad Bien-Stephen last August after dating non-exclusively for about a year.
She also denied rumours she’d dated American musician Yung Gravy (pictured) while he was in the country in February
