Abbie Chatfield has launched an extraordinary spray against a hurtful troll who said her recent urinary tract infection (UTI) diagnosis could be a sign that her boyfriend cheating on her.
The media personality, 29, who in 2023 was rushed to hospital with the condition, posted a scathing video to TikTok in which she said her boyfriend Adam Hyde was faithful.
‘Shut up, this has nothing to do with Adam! This has to do with my pelvic floor, as I have said many times. This is a chronic health condition,’ a furious Abbie began.
A UTI is an infection most commonly seen in women and occurs when bacteria enters the urethra and spreads through to the bladder. The condition is not sexually transmitted.
‘People are saying, “you should look into that.” Shut up, it’s so patronising to women on the internet who are open about their UTI journey,’ Abbie added.
‘Saying it’s Adam is so patronising! I know it’s not normal, that’s why I went to a urologist.’
Abbie reiterated she had gone to the doctor to get treated for the condition, which she had dealt with since she was 19.
‘Huge news, I’m starting a vaccine. It was very expensive, and apparently it’s 70% effective for the bacteria strains that cause UTIs.’

A UTI is generally painful, with symptoms becoming worse if the infection is left untreated and allowed to spread to the kidneys.
According to the Mayo Clinic, infection can happen anywhere in the urinary system – kidney, ureters, bladder and urethra – but mostly occurs in the lower urinary tract.
Abbie confirmed her romance with Peking Duk singer Adam earlier this year after weeks of speculation, and they have been going strong ever since.
She frequently shares loved-up pictures and tributes to him on social media, while he has also featured on her It’s A Lot podcast to discuss their romance.

Earlier this year, Abbie sweetly told Stellar Magazine her relationship with Adam was the best she’s ever had.
‘It isn’t like other people I’ve had flings with. And this is gonna sound a bit w**ky, but he’s had a bigger career than me,’ she said amid concerns from fans that Adam was ‘using her’ for fame.
Abbie was friends with Adam for two years before they started dating, which she said added to the trust between them.
