Abbie Chatfield is labelled ‘tone deaf’ after revealing her stressful life as an influencer amid cost of living crisis: ‘Get a grip!’

Abbie Chatfield has been slammed online after she shared a video to social media discussing her ‘stressful’ life as an influencer.

The FBoy Island Australia host, 29, posted a clip to TikTok in which she discussed the severe mental toll her influencer lifestyle was having on her.

‘When I had a 9 to 5 job, if I was having a s**t time mentally I could go into work and forget about my real life,’ she began.

‘But as an influencer you can’t detach your work from who you are. You have to perform and be a personality, even if you are having a bad time.’

Abbie revealed one of the unique challenges she experienced as an influencer was always having to act like she was happy, regardless of how she was actually feeling.

‘The amount of times I have literally been sobbing and had to go on camera and go zing! It’s crazy and awful.’

Unfortunately, many of her followers were not sympathetic to her plight and quickly took to Reddit to slam her.

‘She is carrying on that influencing is a uniquely stressful job because you have to constantly perform. I don’t think she realises how tone deaf she sounds in a cost of living crisis,’ one person sniped.

‘She has no concept of how bad this comes across considering she’s been raking in $$$ for years now. She needs a reality check,’ a second person added.

‘I will NEVER give any of these influencers sympathy for choosing to pick one of the easiest and laziest jobs in the world. Get a grip,’ a third user chipped in.

It comes as Abbie turned up the heat on her Instagram on Monday night as season two of FBoy Island premiered on Binge.

The former Bacherlor star shared a jaw-dropping photo of her posing up a storm in a plunging gold gown that showed off lots of bust and a little skin.

The sparkling frock clung close to her incredible figure, with one fan commenting, ‘It’s giving gold Logie’.

Abbie was quick to re-share the post, adding her own cutting comment underneath the image.

‘If only we were nominated for anything! Robbed!’ the 29-year-old wrote, referring to the lack of nods for the reality show in this year’s Logies roundup.
