Abbie Chatfield reveals she had a cheeky freedom day hook-up

Abbie Chatfield had a cheeky Freedom Day hook-up after her drunken double date with The Bachelor’s Jimmy Nicholson and Holly Kingston

After a four-month lockdown, Abbie Chatfield caught up for a double date with The Bachelor’s Jimmy Nicholson and Holly Kingston on Monday.

But it appears the Love Island Australia After Party host also managed to squeeze in a quick Freedom Day hook-up on the same night.

Speaking to Hit Newcastle’s Nick, Jess and Ducko, the 26-year-old admitted that she’d ‘brought someone home’ with her on Monday.

Wild thing: Reality star Abbie Chatfield has opened up about her Freedom Day hook-up

‘I was with Jimmy and Holly from The Bachelor and we met for the first time. I drank so much that I’m not drinking until the weekend – I’m traumatized,’ she joked.

And while she met up with someone after hours, Abbie said the impact of the lockdown had weighed heavily on her social skills.

‘But yeah Monday night didn’t go well for me, I was really awkward, I was really weird,’ she said.

Radio host Ducko tried to salvage the moment, chiming in: ‘You still sealed the deal I guess… so it couldn’t have been too bad.’

However, Abbie revealed it wasn’t such a smooth night after all.

‘No, no, we didn’t. We got home and I was like “Ok, you can go home now”. I’m so used to being alone in my apartment,’ she added.

Abbie’s moment of bad romance came after she stepped out with fellow Bachelor alumnis, Jimmy and Holly.

The happy couple enjoyed a double date with Abbie, who had her very own sex toy in tow.

At the time, the bubbly podcast host documented the exciting outing via Instagram.

‘Two Bachelor success stories. @vush_official x ABBIE can make you as happy as @jimmynicholson and @hollykingston,’ she cheekily captioned the ad.

The lovebirds, who fell in love in front of the nation earlier this year, beamed as they enjoyed a sit-down drink at a local Bondi restaurant.

In the very same picture, Abbie puckered up and kissed her ‘date’.

Meanwhile, in a second image, Abbie continued to spruik her sensual gadget which lay on the restaurant’s table.

Abbie, who originally appeared on Matt Agnew’s season of The Bachelor, has made quite the name for herself since her time on the show.

In April, she collaborated with sex toy brand Vush to create her own vibrator.

She is currently hosting Love Island Australia’s After Party on Channel Nine.
