And Geordie Shore certainly maintained its raucous reputation on Tuesday night, as the sixteenth series kicked off on MTV.
The typically chaotic episode saw Abbie Holborn get a spray tan from her nan, and lock lips with newbie Steph Snowdon in the hot tub – while Sam Gowland and Chloe Ferry shared their first kiss, in scenes filmed one month before they started dating.

During the episode, brunette beauty Abbie was seen stripping to nothing but her briefs as she indulged in a spray tan, ahead of the first night out of the series.
Making the scenario more hilarous however was the fact it was her nan doing the spraying – causing Abbie to giggle as she concealed her modesty with her arms, while her relative applied her deep bronze glow.
The episode, filmed in September, also saw Love Island star Sam Gowland enter the house – who has now confirmed his relationship with co-star Chloe.

After dancing the night away in Newcastle, the cast returned to the house and embarked on a drunken session in the hot tub.
However the revelry soon began when Sam and Chloe continued to pack on the PDA, while Abbie surprised her co-stars by planting a smacker on newbie Steph.

The pair confirmed their romance in October, after the hunk joined the Geordie Shore cast following his failed appearance on Love Island.
They announced their romance with a number of sweet Instagram posts – with Chloe sharing a snap of the duo captioned: ‘Chicken to my nugget’, whilst Sam wrote: ‘When half a brain meets another half a brain’.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline last month, Chloe admitted the pair had already discussed the prospect of marriage, after just two months of romance.
She said: ‘We’ve both talked about it, I’ve said I never want to be with another man in my life, Sam is definitely the one.’

However she did confirm she is in no rush to tie the knot, adding: ‘in the future’, while Sam confessed: ‘I’m the same’.
The Love Island star went on to explain he and Chloe have the same sense of humour, allowing their relationship to work so well.
He gushed: ‘Chloe is a good looking girl but there’s just something else there as well, she’s just on my level, we’ve both got the same crack, it’s just very easy-going to be honest.
‘I’m a bit mad myself, she’s like the girl version of me. I like her for the way she is. I don’t want to stop her being the way she is.’
