ABC announces air date for comedic panel show Question Everything which battles media misinformation
The ABC’s satirical panel show, Question Everything, is returning to screens later this month for its second season.
The tongue-in-cheek series provides a comedic insight into current events and aims to battle media misinformation.
TV Blackbox reports comedian Wil Anderson, 48, will resume hosting duties while Walkley-award winning journalist Jan Fran, 37, is back as co-host.

Anderson could not contain his excitement about the hit show returning: ‘Finally, some news you can trust. It’s true, Question Everything is coming back with a panel of your favourite comedians.
‘Together, we’ll see who has the facts straight and who has their news limited,’ he said.
Meanwhile, Fran had some cheeky things to say about its return.

‘When I first heard Question Everything was coming back I checked the source of the information, double-checked it, and verified it with an independent third party,’ she said.
‘Only then did I believe it. I cannot wait. It is always a thrill to tell Wil he’s wrong and on this show I get to do that a lot,’ Fran joked.
Question Everything first screened on the ABC in August last year.

According to a report by Mumbrella, the series takes ‘a look at the week in fake news, false claims, scams, frauds and lies, dissecting the news and sorting out the fact from the fiction’.
Anderson also hosts the ABC’s Gruen which provides a similar satirical look at the world by analysing advertising strategies.
This year marks the hit show’s 14th season, with Gruen proving to be one of the ABC’s highest-rating and longest-lasting programs.
The second series of Question Everything will premiere on Wednesday 28 September at 8:30pm on ABC.
