Aberdeen host Burnley on Thursday night in what has been dubbed as the ‘Princes v Paupers’ rather than the ‘Battle of Britain’.
Burnley have made the trip to the north east of Scotland to take on Aberdeen in the first leg of their Europa League second round of qualifying match.
It is the first time Burnley have competed on a European stage since they lost to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Fairs Cup in 1967.
Sean Dyche’s side will be aiming to return to east Lancashire with a positive result ahead of the second leg at Turf Moor next Thursday.
