The person in question is actor Devon Sawa, who appeared in 90s films such as Casper, Now and Then, Final Destination, Idle Hands before playing the title role in the music video for the Eminem-Dido track Stan.

Sawa racked up credits as a child star with appearances in multiple Nerf commercials, the 1989 movie Unsub and the 1993 TV film Sherlock Holmes Returns.
He appeared in the 1992’s Little Giants before his breakout role as Casper McFadden in Casper, which hit theaters in May of 1995 and co-starred Bill Pullman, Cathy Moriarty, Christina Ricci and Eric Idle.
Later that year, Sawa reunited with Ricci for the dramatic comedy Now and Then, playing the role of Scott Wormer opposite costars Demi Moore, Rosie O’Donnell, Thora Birch and Melanie Griffith.
Sawa continued to rack up roles throughout the decade, in films such as 1997’s Wild America, 1998’s A Cool, Dry Place, 1998’s SLC Punk!, 1998’s Around the Fire and 1999’s Idle Hands.
He played the role of Alex Browning in the hit horror film Final Destination opposite Ali Larter and Seann William Scott. The movie was released in March of 2000 and made more than $112 million in worldwide box office.
Sawa in 2000 also played an obsessed Eminem fan in the music video for his song Stan. The phrase Stan has become a phrase for overactive fandom in recent years.
