The stars of American Horror Story were seen on set for the first time on Monday as filming began on the 12th series.
As the cameras rolled, onlookers’ heads turned as the cast strolled through the streets of New York in character.
While Emma Roberts looked immediately recognisable, her co-star looked dramatically different.
The actress rocked a dark wig with a heavy fringe and her face was masked by red shades – but can you guess who it is?

The Hollywood star made the sidewalk a catwalk as she strutted around NYC in red platform boots.
Cara’s Cruelle De Vil-esque character took an eccentric spin on gothic glamour in the quirky boots and red leather gloves which she teamed with a pencil skirt and dramatic ruffle hem blazer.
Her usual blonde hair was gone and in replace was dark brunette wig and a full face of make-up.
As filming began, Cara was pictured smoking from a cigarette holder.
Cara and Emma were shooting scenes for the upcoming entry of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s long-running FX anthology, called Delicate.
It is based on Danielle Valentine’s upcoming novel called Delicate Condition.
The book is about a woman who is convinced someone sinister is making sure her pregnancy doesn’t happen.
While it’s is Cara’s first time in American Horror Story, Emma previously starred in the franchise from 2013 until 2019 during season three, season four, season seven and season eight; she played Madison Montgomery, Maggie Esmerelda, Serena Belinda, and Brooke Thompson.

But some fans threatened to boycott the show after Kim Kardashian announced she is joining the cast.
The reality star, 42, dropped the surprise news on her Instagram page earlier this month, via the teaser trailer she shared, which was also posted on the official American Horror Story Instagram.
The complaints come despite American Horror Story having a long history of casting celebrities over the years.
One of Lady Gaga’s first acting roles was the Countess, a blood-sucking vampire in AHS: Hotel.
And the series has also seen guest star appearances from supermodel Naomi Campbell, singer Steve Nicks and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine.
Some people defended Kim, saying: ‘I’ll give it a shot to see what Kim can do. I was pleasantly surprised with Lady Gaga in Hotel, so we’ll see. Glad to have Emma back!’
The ominous clip did not picture Kim but it had eerie music with the words: ‘AHS12. Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian are delicate. This summer.’
The clip showed a hint of a women’s figure in the background but it is unknown if it was supposed to represent her or Emma.
Kim did not disclose in what capacity or if she is playing herself, however The Hollywood Reporter revealed details soon after the star shared the announcement.
