Home and Away favourite Ada Nicodemou has revealed her shock new career move.
On Wednesday, the soap icon announced the launch of her first-ever children’s book, titled Mia Megastar.
Ada, 46, has starred on Home and Away for 23 years.
‘I’m very excited to announce my brand new book, Mia Megastar!’ began Nicodemou’s announcement post.
‘It’s all about family, food, friendship & fun and is the perfect junior fiction novel for all the young people out there (aimed at 8 year old girls and above) who want to be megastars,’ she continued.

Ada’s celebrity pals were quick to congratulate the soap star, with co-star Emily Symonds writing, ‘Congratulations Ada, how exciting!’
‘This is awesome!!! We will get it,’ wrote Michael Clarke’s ex Kyly, referring to the couple’s daughter Kelsey Lee.
The career update comes after Nicodemou shared a gorgeous throwback photo from her childhood last week.
In the image, Ada could be seen posing in the snap wearing a pink frock with puff sleeves and holding a bouquet of flowers and a ‘floral crown’ in her hair.
The popular actress, who is smiling for the camera with her familiar toothy grin, also has her dark locks ‘piled’ into an elaborate hairdo for the photo.
In the caption, Ada explained that in the photo she is posing as a ‘flower girl’.

‘Flower girl goals,’ she joked, adding: ‘Throwback Taffeta Thursday.’
She also included a laughing emoji in the share.
Fans were quick to message Ada with gushing praise for her ‘blast from the past’.

Ada is currently in a relationship with long-time boyfriend Adam Rigby.
She has previously gushed about their easy connection, telling New Idea that they met at a work function and he had no idea of her fame.
‘It’s kind of cool though, right?’ she said. ‘I liked that he had no idea about the show,’ she said of Adam.
She has also praised his connection to son Johnas, saying that the pair ‘adore each other’ and that she’s been lucky to find a man so accepting of her child.
The actress shares custody of Johnas with her ex-husband Chrys Xipolitas.
Ada first rose to fame playing the character of Kat, on the Channel 10 soap Heartbreak High.
She later moved on to her current role as Leah Patterson-Baker on Home and Away.
