‘I’ve always wanted a partnership’: Adam Lambert says the single life was ‘fun’ but ’empty’ – after confirming his romance with model Jaci Costa Polo
In March, Adam Lambert confirmed his romance with model Jaci Costa Polo after being single for almost five years.
And the former American Idol star, 37, revealed on Thursday that he sometimes felt ’empty’ during his bachelor days.
He told the Herald Sun: ‘I enjoyed being a bachelor for a long time, it’s a good life. But it can get a bit empty, it’s so transient.’

He continued: ‘[Being single is] fun, I’ve met a lot of amazing people – but having a partnership feels like you’re investing time in each other and creating real intimacy.
‘There’s something beautiful about that. I’ve always wanted a partnership.’
Adam song ‘New Eyes’, from his most recent album Velvet, is about his relationship with Spanish model Jaci.

His boyfriend swiftly responded: ‘I love you.’

In February 2018, Adam revealed he was struggling to find lasting love.
‘Dating is a bit tricky when you’re moving around all the time, I have to say,’ he told Australia’s Kyle and Jackie O Show at the time.
‘You can meet somebody great and then be like, “OK, I’m only here for three days, I gotta go, it was a nice first date and goodbye”. It’s tough.’
