Adam Levine honors wife Behati Prinsloo during Vegas residency after sexting scandal

Adam Levine showered his wife Behati Prinsloo with praise on Friday during the opening night of Maroon 5’s Las Vegas residency at Park MGM.

The singer, 44, not only shouted out the supermodel, 34, but also the couple’s three children: daughter Dusty, six, Gio, five, and a newborn baby, who arrived in January.

During the 20-song set, Levine gushed that he adores his family and that he ‘used to do this for myself, and now I do this for them.’

It comes after Levine found himself in a sexting scandal after he was accused of cheating on his spouse with a number of younger women on social media.

The devastating news broke while the former Victoria’s Secret Angel was pregnant with the famous couple’s third child. 

Levine admitted at the time that he ‘used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in any kind of flirtatious manner,’ in a statement, but maintained,  ‘I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life.’

He went on to admit that ‘In certain instances it became inappropriate. I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.’ 

The band, which also includes Jesse Carmichael (guitar, keyboards and backing vocals), James Valentine (guitar and backing vocals), Matt Flynn (drums and percussion), PJ Morton (keyboards and backing vocals) and Sam Farrar (bass, keyboards, guitar and backing vocals) kicked off the show with Animals One More Night.

They proceeded to role out the hits that included Makes Me Wonder, Memories, Don’t Want To Know, Moves Like Jagger, She Will Be loved and Girls lIke You.

Ahead of Memories, Levine introduced the song as an ode to the band’s former manager Jordan ‘Jordi’ Feldstein, who died at age 40 after suffering a heart attack in 2017. 

There was also a video tribute to Feldstein, who was also the brother of actors Jonah Hill and Beanie Feldstein. 

And in one last nod of respect, they would pay tribute to him again during the last song of the evening, Sugar, that featured pink confetti falling down from the rafters.

Seemingly feeling sentimental on several fronts of his life, Levine also paid tribute to his parents, who were on hand for the show. 

Along with Friday’s show, Maroon 5’s M5LV: The Residency includes show on March 25, 29, 31, as well as April 1, 5, 7, and 8.

They will pick back up with the run at Dolby Live at Park MGM with shows July 28, 29 and August 2.4.9, 11 and 12.

Over the course of their career, the band has released seven studio albums between 2002 and 2021 , beginning with Songs About Jane, and the most recent being Jordi, which is another tribute to Jordi Feldstein.

Maroon 5 has sold more than 135 million records, making them one of the world’s best-selling musical artists of their era.

It was recently reported that Levine re-devoted himself to his wife Behati and their children as he attempts to move on from his sexting scandal.

The Maroon 5 heartthrob was widely mocked last year over lurid, cringe-inducing messages he allegedly sent other women, including infamously: ‘Holy f*** Holy f***ing f*** That body of yours is absurd.’

When the scandal broke Behati was pregnant with her and Adam’s third child, whom she welcomed into the world this January. 

However he has managed to save his marriage, and in recent weeks particularly has been spotted engaging in multiple public displays of affection with his wife.

‘Adam has done a complete turnaround in how he handles his marriage. He basically recommitted himself 100 percent to Behati and his family,’ a source told Us Weekly.

‘They’re spending more quality time together, date nights without the kids and girls only nights for Behati,’ the insider explained.

The dashing singer is said to have ‘realized he made a huge mistake,’ and he and Behati are purportedly now ‘back on track as a couple.’

Last year the musician’s former yoga teacher accused him of allegedly sending a dirty text to her – as she become the fourth woman to come forward with explosive claims against him.

Alanna Zabel, who trained the pop star from 2007 to 2010, alleged he said he wanted ‘to spend the day with you naked’ and bragged to his friends about how she had ‘the best a** in town and it was cute’.

Levine faced an avalanche of claims from Instagram models and a comedian who allege he sent them inappropriate messages despite being married to Behati.

Levine admitted to sending flirty text messages to model Sumner Stroh, 23. Sumner shocked the internet when she went on TikTok and shared intimate messages between herself and the singer. 

‘Essentially, I was having an affair with a man who’s married to a Victoria’s Secret model. At the time, I was young, I was naive and, quite frankly, I feel exploited,’ she said. 

Stroh also claimed that Levine indicated his relationship with Prinsloo was on rocky ground, but then the supermodel announced she was pregnant with their third child, suggesting the relationship was on stronger ground that she had been led to believe.

After the pregnancy was announced, Levine reportedly told his alleged mistress that he wanted to potentially name the child after her.

Until he married Prinsloo in a romantic ceremony in Cabo San Lucas in July 2014, Levine had been the ultimate playboy with a dating career that included Victoria’s Secret models Anne Vyalitsana and Nina Agdal, as well as a rumored fling with Jessica Simpson. 

The couple have two daughters Dusty Rose, six, and Gio Grace, five, and welcomed their third child in January this year.

That month it was reported that the two have moved on from Adam’s texting drama and are focusing on their baby.

‘After the drama in the fall, Adam has really tried to just focus on his family,’ a source shared to People.

The source added, ‘He was very embarrassed and remorseful. She and Adam are doing great. They are excited about the new baby.’ 

At the time of the scandal he released a statement that read: ‘I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life.’ 

‘In certain instances, it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family. My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make,’ he went on.

‘I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together.’
