Adele fans speculate new music is on the way after ’30’ billboards are found around the world

A series of ’30’ billboards erected around the world have led Adele fans to speculate new music is on the way from the songstress.

Photos posted to social media show massive signs with the number 30 placed in Dubai and Ireland.

The last time Adele released an album was her 2015 Grammy-award winning album 25, which scored Album Of The Year at the elite music ceremony.

New music? A series of perplexing ’30’ billboards erected around the world have led Adele fans to believe new music is coming from the songstress

The ’30’ title would certainly fall in line with Adele’s preferred way of naming her albums, with all three of her studio albums named after her age.

‘ADELE IS COMING!!! OMG!!!’ @Itsyourpaulo tweeted in response to the billboards.

‘I’M SHAKING ADELE IS COMING OMG #30’, tweeted @StatsAdele.

Adele fans are already on high alert after Taylor Swift announced she had pushed back the release date of the re-recording of her 2012 album Red from November 19 to November 12.

This surprise announcement led fans to speculate that Swift had pushed the album up a week because Adele’s long-awaited fourth studio album was also dropping on November 19.

While neither Adele nor Swift have commented on this new album, speculation first surfaced from a radio host named Mauler.

Mauler sent out a cryptic tweet that was later deleted on Tuesday, which said, ‘New Adele. This week.’

While some thought that meant Adele’s full new album would be released this week, others have speculated that the lead single will drop on Friday.

Despite no confirmation from Swift or Adele, that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating on Twitter.

Last month it had been reported that Adele was set to make a showstopping comeback in time for Christmas with the songstress releasing her much-anticipated fourth album and televised Las Vegas concert.

The alleged spectacular will mark the singer’s first live performance in over four years, following her record-breaking stadium tour which concluded in 2017.

A source told The Sunday Mirror: ‘It’s been a long time coming but her label wants it released before Christmas and have their sights set on a performance in Vegas.

‘Adele and her management have been in talks with BBC America about broadcasting it around the world. This will be one of few performances as part of her promotional tour,’ the source added.

‘Obviously with ongoing Covid dramas and concern for safety it could affect recording, but this is the date scheduled right now.’

In a bid to top her last LP 25, which sold a whopping 23 million copies since its 2015 release, the Grammy winner’s latest project was due to be dropped last year but was delayed by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Along with a major marketing campaign, her record label Sony is thought to be penciling in a November release for the collection of tracks which will see the icon reflect on her divorce from husband Simon Konecki.

Throwing fuel onto the fire, Ed Sheeran recently blurted out that he believed the Hello hitmaker was aiming for a festive comeback.

In a recent interview he said: ‘I think Adele’s coming back before Christmas. I’ve heard rumours.’
