‘It will be must-watch TV’: Adele ‘is working on tell-all documentary about her career and how she copes with the pressures of fame’

Adele is reportedly working on a tell-all documentary which will follow her incredible career and give fans an insight into how she copes with global fame.

The singer, 34, is notoriously private about her personal life but is believed to be currently working with producers on the intimate documentary.

The programme, which does not yet have a release date, will reportedly give fans a glimpse into her personal life and follow her record-breaking career.

A source told The Sun: ‘It will be must-watch TV. Even though everyone knows her name, Adele is still quite mysterious as a person.

‘Her life now compared to when she released her debut album is unrecognisable.’

The source added that Adele sees the documentary as a way to make up for the last-minute postponement of her much-anticipated Las Vegas residency.

MailOnline has contacted Adele’s representatives for comment.

Earlier this month, Adele wowed a 65,000-strong crowd at her BST Hyde Park gigs, but she still hasn’t given fans a date for her postponed Nevada shows.

Adele cancelled her Caesar’s Palace shows with just 24 hours notice in January, admitting the performance just ‘wasn’t ready’.

Addressing the cancellation at Hyde Park as she performed publicly for the first time in five years, she shared that cancelling was ‘mortifying’ but ‘it just wasn’t right’.

She told the crowd: ‘I know that a lot of things have happened with this album and I’m sure a lot of you feel that you’ve been let down and stuff, which is mortifying really and upsetting to me.

‘But I take my singing very seriously and the last thing I would ever want to do is let people down but I had to do that, it just wasn’t right.’

The star has previously promised that the shows will go ahead this year, but dates have yet to be announced from the singer, leaving fans in limbo.

At Hyde Park, Adele performed her first track, Hello, to the mammoth Hyde Park audience as well as tracks from her latest record 30, including I Drink Wine.

She also performed some of her more classic hits such as Rolling In The Deep and Someone Like You.

Adele has previously been plagued with vocal issues, but she kept them at bay during the performance by sipping on a hot drink to sooth her throat.

The star held back tears as she addressed the audience and told them she was ‘f**king s****ing herself’ after performing her first song.

She shouted ‘I’m so happy to be back’ as she looked out across the mammoth crowd.

Before taking to the stage, Adele was supported by an all female line-up, including Kasey Musgraves, Gabrielle and Self Esteem.

It marked the second public show Adele has played since she headlined two Wembley concerts in 2017.
